In a significant step towards transforming the lives of Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL), the Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC) Davao conducted a training site inspection and coordination meeting at the Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY). The event, held on July 21, 2023, at Purok 7, Bago Oshiro, Tugbok District, Davao City, aimed to build the capacity of CICL and help them reintegrate into society.
Guided by construction-related qualifications trainer Alexander Dagohoy and TESD Specialist II Nelson Embat, the RTC-KPVTC Davao team joined forces with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in their noble endeavor. Recognizing the significance of technical training in empowering vulnerable youth, DSWD approached RTC-KPVTC Davao with a request to provide community-based programs for the rehabilitation of CICL.
