The Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC) Davao conducted the Training Induction Program (TIP) for Cookery NC II training on November 17, 2023, at the Barangay Hall of Brgy. 74-A Matina Crossing, Davao City. This activity caters the trainees under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) scholarship, which is sponsored by the PBA Partylist office.
The event was facilitated and delivered by Mr. Joie Vincent R. Dagohoy, TESD Specialist II and Scholarship Assistant of RTC-KPVTC Davao. Also present in the program are twenty (20) trainees residing in Brgy. Talomo and Brgy. Matina Crossing, Davao City. They will enjoy having free skills and entrepreneurship training, free national competency assessment, daily allowance of Php 160.00, and will receive starter toolkits related to Cookery NC II.
Ms. Millicent Concepcion, the trainer of the program, will conduct their classes starting November 20, 2023 and will end in early January of 2024. The class hours is scheduled to be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM every weekdays, and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM every weekends. The entire training program will also take place in Brgy. 74-A Matina Crossing, as Cookery NC II is registered as a Mobile Training Program (MTP) of RTC-KVPTC Davao.
