The Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC) and MAPUA College of Mindanao (MCM) are exploring a potential partnership that could enhance the skills qualifications offered to students. In a recent coordination meeting, key stakeholders from both institutions discussed the possibility of working together and conducted a laboratory inspection to evaluate MCM’s facilities.
The RTC-KPVTC Davao personnel who attended the meeting were Gil D. Gonzales, Supervising Specialist; Maribel M. Tero, DCET Head Trainer; Engr. Robert K. Arnaez, DMET Head Trainer; Joel Atablanco, Green TVET Co-Chair; and Engr. Jayson P. Lolo, Mechatronics Trainer. The purpose was to foster collaboration, identify areas of mutual benefit, and determine the skills qualifications that could be offered through the partnership.
The laboratory inspection provided valuable insights into the strengths and areas for improvement of MCM’s facilities, and the participants discussed possible upgrades and improvements that could enhance the quality of training. The partnership could offer students access to cutting-edge equipment, training for faculty and staff, curriculum development, and a strong support system.
This potential partnership between RTC-KPVTC and MCM holds great promise for providing students with top-notch skills qualifications and training opportunities
