On September 28, 2023, the Regional Training Center Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC Korphil) in Davao buzzed with activity as trainees eagerly prepared for Physical Education Day (PE2 Day). This annual event promotes physical fitness and teamwork among the trainees, and it involves various challenging activities, with the obstacle course being a highlight. The trainees, under the guidance of their Physical Education Trainer, Mr. Jay Mark B. Nuevo, and with the assistance of Mr. Manuel Ceasar S. Beltran and Ms. Dina T. Catantan, enthusiastically cleaned and set up the obstacle course to ensure a successful and safe event.
Physical Education Day, or PE2 Day, is an essential part of the training program at RTC Korphil. It not only promotes physical fitness but also instills values like discipline, teamwork, and perseverance among the trainees. Armed with brooms, rakes, and buckets of soapy water, they set to work cleaning and maintaining the various components of the course. The trainees worked tirelessly, removing debris, repairing any damaged sections, and ensuring that all safety measures were in place.
Mr. Jay Mark B. Nuevo, the Physical Education Trainer at RTC Korphil, played a crucial role in supervising the trainees during the preparation process. With his expertise and experience, he provided valuable insights on how to improve the course’s design
