On March 16, 2023, the staff and trainers of RTC-KorPhil Davao warmly welcomed TESDA XI Acting Regional Director Rey M. Cueva during his site visit to the training center.
Under the leadership of Center Administrator Engr. Constantino B. Panes, Jr., Ed.D., together with Supervising TESD Gil D. Gonzales and Administrative Officer V Aenon Prince V. Alporte, a program was conducted in the Multi-purpose Hall of RTC-KorPhil Davao, discussing the overview of the training center and acknowledging the staff and personnel.
During his talk, ARD Cueva discussed that in some places in Davao Region, unemployment, lack of skills and sustainability of programs and trainings are still problems to be addressed. Hence, he aimed to provide sustainable assistance to number of beneficiaries through relevant trainings, linkages and partnerships with industries and organizations. He also encouraged training centers to continue providing technical skills, especially in far-flung areas. ARD Cueva in his visit to the center was accompanied by the Provincial Director of Davao del Norte Leah D. Braga, ROD Chief Myrna C. Roa, and CTC Administrator Engr. Efren T. Ojeda.
