To earmark the defined areas of collaboration, the TESDA RTC-Korea Philippines CVocational Training Center Davao and University of Southeastern Philippines have met online for the second coordination meeting on March 12, 2024.
In the meeting done via Zoom platform, the delegation of TESDA RTC-KorPhil Davao was led by Training Department Head Mario M. dela Cerna, MTE while USeP team was led by the Office of Vice President for Research, Development and Extension (OVPRDE) Dr. Roger C. Montepio, who both enjoined key staffs in their various units and offices directly involved in the partnerships.
The meeting highlighted the presentation and review of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which documented the various areas of collaborations to be undertaken by the two institutions while sharing its manpower, expertise and other resources.
It is also understood in the meeting that once the MOU is signed, series of Memorandum of Agreements can be undertaken by the various offices of the two institutions to operate specific partnership programs, projects and activities that includes in curriculum and instruction, research and development, community extension, microcredentialling, among others.
