On August 2, 2022, the Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center participated in the online STAR Rating validation conducted by external validators and the national board of judges using the video conferencing tool Google Meet.
The external validators carefully examined the pieces of evidence throughout the validation period to determine whether RTC-KPVTC Davao met the requirements outlined in Program Registration under the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS). They also pose certain inquiries in an effort to confirm the accuracy of the data in the submitted documents.
RTC-KPVTC Davao submitted all the necessary paperwork to the TESDA XI Regional Office on May 20, 2022, in advance of the aforementioned validation. The materials submitted for Driving NC II qualification were then verified by the STAR Rating Regional Committee (SRRC). They want to confirm that the documents are accurate and meet the requirements of the STAR Program. Conferment of STAR Awardees will take place this August during the TESDA Anniversary Week on the 5th National Quality TVET Forum.
