The Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center welcomed a fresh batch of enthusiastic trainees as it conducted its highly anticipated Training Induction Program on May 2, 2023. The program, which marked the official start of the semester following a two-month postponement, commenced with inspiring messages from esteemed figures in the organization.
Provincial Director Adonis F. Culas of the Davao City/Sur Provincial Office delivered a warm welcome address, encouraging the trainees to seize the numerous opportunities that awaited them at the training center. Director Culas emphasized the importance of making the most out of their time as scholars, highlighting the transformative power of dedication and perseverance.
The significance of the occasion was further underscored by the presence of the new Regional Director, Ashary A. Banto. Director Banto took the stage to extend his heartfelt welcome and impress upon the trainees the importance of approaching the program with utmost seriousness. Recognizing the trainees’ privileged status as full scholars with an allowance, Director Banto reminded them of the remarkable opportunity they had been given and urged them to embrace their studies wholeheartedly. His words served as a call to action, encouraging the trainees to set high goals and to exert their best efforts to achieve them.
As the program continued, Ms. Catherine S. Perez, the Scholarship Focal of TESDA PO Davao City/Sur, provided valuable insights into the breakdown of the trainees’ allowances, ensuring transparency and addressing any financial concerns that may arise.
