With a triple celebration in place, TESDA RTC-KorPhil Davao marked its 17th Founding Anniversary, 11th Korean Festival and International Women’s Day on March 8-9, 2022.
The jampacked two-day celebration started on March 8 with a holy mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Tivurce Mouyeke, CSCH and followed with programs showcasing Korean and Filipino cultures- in dance, game and cuisine.
The event was also made extra special with a video presentation that highlighted the many victories, accomplishments and developments gained by the institution since its humble beginning in 2005, the year the Center was officially inaugurated as Regional Training Center-Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center Davao.
On March 9, the faculty, staff and trainees who were clad in violet shirts attended a motorcade in time of the International Women’s Day to honor the contributions of all women in the Center and to advocate gender inclusivity in TESDA operations.
TESDA XI RD Engr. Lorenzo Macapili, DTE and Davao City/Sur PD Adonis F. Culas attended the opening of the event and expressed their greetings for the Centerhood celebration of RTC-KorPhil Davao.
