Training on “Install Lighting Fixtures and Wiring Devices leading to Electrical Installation Maintenance NC II” commenced on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Sitio Dugayan, Brgy. Gupitan, Kapalong, Davao del Norte with on-call trainer John Paul Dingal supervising the training delivery.
Fifty trainees for two batches will be trained within seven days each batch to receive a Certificate of Completion (COC), as initial competency towards having a National Certificate in EIM NC II.
The said training was a collaborative project of TESDA XI Office of the Regional Director (ORD), Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC) Davao, and TESDA Davao del Norte Provincial Office (PO).
Through the Sitio Electrification Program (SEP) of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Kapalong, this training will lead to the provision of electric services to multiples homes at Sitio Dugayan in accordance with the implementation of Executive Order (EO) No. 70 or the “Whole-of-Nation Approach” of the Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC).
Furthermore, this training will bring about EO 70s objective which is to harmonize the delivery of basic services and social development packages in conflict-affected and vulnerable communities in pursuit of the country’s peace and development agenda.
