“Smart Classrooms” are equipped with technological resources, such as interactive whiteboards, projectors, pens, & multimedia devices. These classrooms aim to keep students engaged in learning. It involves the use of visual and audio means rather than only textbooks.
This classroom is located on the 2nd Floor of the Administration Building of RTC-KPVTC Davao, which was previously the Computer Laboratory of the institution. The project will include a smart television at the forefront, smart tablets for trainees, and other multimedia device such as voice-activated lights and smart speakers.
The visit was welcomed by the Center Administrator of RTC-KPVTC Davao, Engr. Constantino B. Panes, Jr., together with his staff, most of which are head trainers of different programs of the institution.
The Smart Classroom is an ongoing project of RTC-KPVTC Davao which is expected to be completed by December 2024. This project was a result of the benchmarking activity conducted by TESDA Region XI in Iloilo early April this year.
