The KOICA delegation, along with representatives from several Korean NGOs, toured the vocational training center’s facilities, which provide high-quality technical education to Filipino students. During the visit, discussions were held on how KOICA and the NGOs can further support the center’s mission of providing accessible vocational training and skills development for the region’s youth.
The highlight of the event was the formal introduction of the Korean NGO Network, an initiative that aims to coordinate efforts between various Korean organizations operating in the Philippines. This network seeks to enhance the reach of community development projects and ensure the sustainability of existing programs in the fields of education, health, and social welfare.
“As the head of RTC-KPVTC, Davao we are delighted to be a part of the KOICA network and appreciate the opportunity that this collaboration has provided for our Training Center. We look forward to continuing our collaborations and exploring new opportunities for knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and joint project development” said the Center Administrator of the RTC-KPVTC.
This visit underscores KOICA’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Philippines, building on years of collaboration to uplift communities through education, capacity building, and technical support.
As the event concluded, both the KOICA team and NGO partners expressed their optimism in expanding future initiatives, ensuring that the center remains a hub for vocational excellence in Mindanao.
