Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) is a community-based specialty training program that addresses the specific skills needs of the communities and promote employment, particularly through entrepreneurial, self-employment and service-oriented activities. Training programs offered are generally short-term or modules based on the Training Regulations promulgated by TESDA. With this, 25 scholars from Paquibato Proper were trained in Overhaul Motorcycle/Small Engine Leading to Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing NC II handled by TESDA On Call Trainer Mr. Manuel P. Balungay
The 25 beneficiaries were appreciative and overjoyed for TESDA’s ongoing support. They are supposed to use their received starter kits to produce money and develop livelihood opportunities, with a focus on poverty alleviation.
TESDA XI – RTC-KorPhil distributes starter toolkits to twenty-five (25) scholars enrolled in Overhaul Motorcycle/Small Engine Leading to Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing NC II on February 16, 2022, at Paquibato Proper, Paquibato District, Davao City, under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP). It is a community-based specialist training program that tries to meet unique community needs and create employment, notably through entrepreneurial, self-employment, and service-oriented activities. It is known as the Special Training for Employment Program.
