RTC-KorPhil Davao welcomes back diploma trainees for a brand-new semester

New semester, new opportunities to learn!

Earlier today, August 12, 2024, the Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC) Davao opens its doors for the returning diploma trainees for their new semester this August to December, 2024.

These trainees are the current 2nd Year 1st Semester and 2nd Year 2nd Semester under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA) scholarship of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Under the said scholarship, the trainees enjoy free training, free assessment, a daily Training Support Fund (TSF) of Php 100.00, and other allowances, which will last for their entire three-year stay in the institution.

The trainees are enrolled in the nine (9) diploma programs of RTC-KPVTC Davao, which are: [1] Diploma in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Technology (DABET), [2] Diploma in Automotive Technology (DAT), [3] Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (DCET), [4] Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Technology (DHRT), [5] Diploma in Heating, Ventilating, Airconditioning/Refrigeration Technology (DHVACT), [6] Diploma in Industrial Automation and Mechatronics Technology (DIAMT), [7] Diploma in Information Technology, and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology – [8] specializing in Machining and [9] specializing in Welding.

RTC-KPVTC Davao also awaits its 2024 new entrants (1st Year 1st Semester) to enter the institution some time this year, after the arrival of their approved scholarship from TESDA Central Office.
