RTC-KorPhil visits Ana’s Breeders Farms, Inc. for Partnership Talks

On December 6, 2024, the officers of the Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC) Davao visited one of its new industry partners, Ana’s Breeders Farms, Inc. (ABFI), in Brgy. Binugao, Toril, Davao City, for talks of partnership, especially regarding Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) and Regional Program for Industry Immersion of Trainers (RPIIT).

The activity was headed by the Center Administrator of RTC-KPVTC Davao, Engr. Constantino B. Panes, Jr., along with trainers: Mr. Eugene R. Valdez and Ms. Gladies G. Bactong, (Diploma in Heating, Ventilating, Airconditioning/Refrigeration Technology or DHVACT), Mr. Armando D. Bolivar (Diploma in Automotive Technology or DAT), and Ms. Maribel B. Tero (Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or DCET), and Mr. Joie Vincent R. Dagohoy (Industry Coordinator). The partner enterprise was represented by Mr. Raymond G. Suscano, People and Culture Officer of Ana’s Breeders Farms, Inc.

The delegates first visited ABFI’s subsidiary, Subzero Ice and Cold Storage. This company is the cold storage for the dressed chickens of ABFI and is willing to accept interns from RTC-KVPTC Davao, especially coming from DHVACT. They also have technologies in industrial refrigeration, which will be suitable for developing technicians of the center.

The group then visited the motor pool area of ABFI. The company deploys a lot of trucks and vehicles to operate and deliver their products, which could welcome automotive technician interns from RTC-KPVTC Davao.
