Be Your Own Boss – KorPhil Davao Supports Multiplier Training on Entrepreneurship

RTC-KPVTC, Davao expressed it supports to the TESDA Davao City District Office and the Association of Davao City Private Technical Vocational Institutions, Inc. during the conduct of Multiplier Trainer’s Training on Entrepreneurship focusing on the “Be Your Own Boss” (BYOB) Module from October 28 to 31, 2024 at the Agro-Industrial Foundation Colleges of the Philippines, Inc.

The BYOB Trainer’s Training was spearheaded by the DCDO, with support from RTC-KPVTC trainers, Engr. Lougino A. Miguel and Ms. Mary Grace A. Pelayo. This initiative aimed to upskill entrepreneurship trainers from various technical-vocational institutions, including freelancers, with essential skills and knowledge to inspire entrepreneurship among their students and assist them if they desire to pursue the entrepreneurial pathway.

Moreover, the BYOB module is designed to empower participants with practical tools for developing business ideas and fostering a culture of self-employment. The RTC-KPVTC trainers assisted the BYOB Master Trainer, Mr. Emmanuel Crismas, in facilitating the sessions, ensuring that the training effectively met the needs of aspiring entrepreneurship trainers, school administrators, and entrepreneurs.

This initiative marked a significant step toward enhancing the entrepreneurial landscape in Davao City, specifically in TVET, promoting innovation and self-sufficiency among TVET graduates. 

As the program unfolded, it was anticipated that the trainers trained in the BYOB module would also inspire a new generation of TVET entrepreneurs ready to make their mark in the entrepreneurial world.
