The TESDA XI Regional Training Center-Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC), Davao student body cast their votes during the KorPhil Davao Student Council (KDSC) elections yesterday, October 29, 2024, from 8 AM to 5 PM in the TESDA RTC-KPVTC, Davao Mini-Theater Hall.
This election represented a crucial opportunity for students to express their choices and influence the leadership of their student body for the upcoming year. Similar to the Miting de Avance, the elections were conducted face-to-face, with classes held asynchronously to facilitate student participation.
Voters were encouraged to bring their student IDs and make informed decisions based on the candidates’ platforms presented during the Miting de Avance.
This year’s student council elections received immense support from the RTC-KPVTC, Davao Center Administrator, Engr. Constantino B. Panes, Jr., Ed.D with the KDSC Advisers, Ms. Mary Grace A. Pelayo, Engr. Ailyn R. Tejero, Ms. Dina T. Catantan, and Mr. Manuel Ceasar Jr. R. Beltran.
As excitement built for the elections, students were reminded of the importance of their participation in shaping the future of the KDSC and enhancing the overall student experience at the Training Center.
