A total of 51 beneficiaries have completed trainings with RTC-KorPhil Davao in partnership with AboitizPower subsidiary Therma South, Inc and were recognized in a graduation ceremony held on July 18, 2024 at the Municipal Multipurpose Building of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
Twenty-five members of the Person with Disability of Sta Cruz Association (PDOSCA) have completed Dressmaking NC II while 26 OSY from Brgy. Binugao, Sta Cruz finished Photovoltaic Systems Installation NC II.
In the same graduation, TESDA Carmelo C. delos Cientos National Trade School (CCNTS) also proclaimed 25 graduates in Bread and Pastry Production NC II from Brgy. Darong while Mary Mediatrix of All Graces Academy, Inc conferred 25 scholars in Masonry NC II from Brgy. Inawayan, thereby totaling to 101 graduates in the said ceremony.
Handing the Training Certificates were TESDA XI key officials headed by Regional Director Ashary A. Banto who also conveyed his warm congratulations to the graduates.
Ahead of the graduation ceremony, the beneficiaries were also given starter tool kits by the TSI awarding sewing materials and machine to dressmaking graduates and multi-meter, pliers (combination, diagonal, long nose), screwdriver, wrench, wire stripper, and crimper for the PV Systems Installation scholars of RTC-KorPhil Davao.
