Twenty-five residents of Brgy. Tibungco, Davao City have received free training and assessment in the 10-day training course Raise Organic Chicken leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II at the RTC-KorPhil Davao.
The training is in coordination with the Tibungco Women and Person with Disability (PWD) Associations with members who are 4PS beneficiaries, solo parents, repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), and farmers.
In the course, the trainees are taught on how to identify healthy and sick stocks, establish and maintain poultry house, formulate organic feeds, apply preventive measure against pests and diseases, among other competencies.
Brgy. Captain Merjade D. Calvo expressed gratitude to the TESDA RTC-KorPhil Davao for capacitating the residents of Brgy. Tibungco. She also urged the trainees to learn and enjoy from the training.
